Dr Jacob Modumo is a highly experienced veterinary professional and executive leader with over 27 years in animal health, vaccine production, and commercial operations. He currently serves as Interim CEO of Onderstepoort Biological Products (OBP), where he provides strategic leadership, drives organisational performance, and advances business growth and sustainability.

His expertise spans animal disease control, vaccine manufacturing, regulatory compliance, supply chain management, and market development. He has played a key role in expanding both national and international markets, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and implementing sustainable business models in the livestock health sector.

Dr Modumo is also a respected mentor and leader, known for developing professionals across veterinary, scientific, and commercial disciplines. He holds a veterinary degree, a Master’s in Veterinary Tropical Diseases and Vaccinology, and a Master of Business Leadership.
