A swelling may develop at the injection site and in a
few cases necrosis may occur. Most vaccinated
animals develop a positive complement fixation titre which
generally disappears within 3 months.
Individual animals may, however, show positive titres
for 6 months. Immunity, however, cannot be
guaranteed in all animals. PACKING
